About ProductsVerdict — Our Mission and Research Methodology
Honest product verdicts, backed by research.
ProductsVerdict is an independent review site. We analyze pricing, public benchmarks, trial accounts where available, user feedback, and vendor documentation to help you pick the right tool — without the marketing fluff.
What drives us
The principles that shape every review and verdict we publish.
Editorially independent
Affiliate partners never see reviews before they're published and never influence rankings or scores.
Research-led, transparent where possible
We analyze pricing, public benchmarks, product documentation, user feedback, and run trial-account walkthroughs whenever a free tier or trial exists.
Clear verdicts
Every comparison ends with a recommendation: Best Overall, Best Value, and Best for a specific use case.
Reader-first
If a product isn't worth your money, we say so. We'd rather lose a commission than mislead a reader.
Our 4-step review process
Every comparison on this site is produced this way. When a section is light on first-hand testing, we say so up front in the article.
Define what matters
For every category we publish the rubric first — what we score on and how each factor is weighted — before any research begins.
Gather the evidence
We collect live pricing, vendor documentation, third-party benchmarks (GTmetrix, Ookla, audit reports), user reviews, and our own first-hand notes from trials or free tiers.
Cross-check & score
Every claim is sourced. Where vendors disagree with public benchmarks, we say so. Scores are calculated from the published weights — no hand-tweaking to fit a narrative.
Publish & update
Reviews get a Last Updated date and a public changelog. We update pricing, benchmark sources, and ownership changes when material updates occur or readers flag stale data.
