Corrections policy

If we got something wrong, we want to fix it — and we want you to be able to see we fixed it.

How we handle errors

  • Factual errors (wrong price, outdated feature, misattributed quote): fixed within 48 hours of verification and logged in the article's public changelog.
  • Stale data (vendor changed pricing or features since publication): updated when flagged by readers or when a material change is announced.
  • Disputed claims: if a vendor or reader disputes an interpretation, we reassess against the original sources and either revise or publicly explain why we're standing by it.
  • Material changes to a verdict get a "Correction" note at the top of the article, not just a silent edit.
