Editorial Guidelines

Our process
ProductsVerdict uses a combination of research methods, including product analysis, publicly available information, comparison frameworks, user feedback, and AI-assisted technology to help organize and evaluate information.
AI tools may assist our research and content workflow, but final recommendations are based on our editorial standards and ProductsVerdict scoring methodology.
Standards we hold ourselves to
- Independence
No brand can pay for placement, pre-publication review, or a higher score. Rankings reflect our scoring methodology — not commission rate.
- Sourcing
Claims are tied to vendor documentation, independent audits, public benchmarks, and aggregated user reviews. Sources are cited inside the article when a verdict relies on third-party data.
- Fact-checking
A second editor reviews every published article against its sources before it goes live, and again on every quarterly refresh.
- Corrections
We log every material change in a public per-article changelog with the original claim, the corrected claim, and the date. See the corrections policy for how to flag an error.
- Disclosure
Affiliate links are disclosed at the top and bottom of every article. We never accept undisclosed sponsorship.
- Responsible use of AI tools
AI-assisted tools may help organize information and accelerate research. They never decide what we recommend — editorial judgment and the ProductsVerdict scoring methodology do.
